Jack turned one year old on Sunday and he had a big celebration. Uncle Dave flew in from Pennsylvania and Jack hosted his first party. First he helped us clean for the party...
Before his party he received balloons from his Nana and Papa as well as his first bike. He thought the bike was awesome and the basket on the front even more awesome!
Then a bunch of his friends came over. He had 4 baby friends and about 15 adult friends help him celebrate his first birthday.
Jack had a special giant cupcake for his birthday cake made specially by Mommy.
He really wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do with the cake and frosting...
After cake, Jack opened all of his presents. He is definitely not in need of ANY toys for the next couple of years!
All in all, it was a great day and the perfect way to celebrate the joy that is Jack. We're headed to Virginia on Thursday for more birthday celebrations where Jack will have a second birthday party with all of his family including all of his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins at Lake Monnocan. Is this kid loved, or what?

You are truly Blessed that God has given you and Chris the perfect gift of Jack. And I am sure Jack knows at just "1" just how lucky he is to be given such wonderful,loving and caring parents, as in you and Chris. We love Jack and you guys so much, and we look forward to having you add on to your family.
I miss him so much! People get sick of me talking about him. Jack this and Jack that and guess what Jack can do. I have a special folder on Yahoo for his updates and I really wish I could've been there for his birthday. I hope I can come back and visit you next summer, if you don't mind!!
